Pricing

Housecall Euthanasia (includes travel* and sedation):

Cats $390

Pocket pets (chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice) $390

Dogs (all sizes) $440

Out of hours surcharge (for appointments starting before 9am or after 4pm) $100

Sunday and Public Holiday Surcharge $100

Aftercare pricing (in addition to euthanasia pricing):

Individual Cremation fees are not included in the euthanasia price and are payable directly to the company that will care for your pet. We do not charge to make the arrangements for you. See their website for their service fees.

Forever Farm Burial Aftercare: $150 for a dog, $100 for a cat or pocket pet

Home Burial: No additional fees from us

We are a local Sunshine Coast company owned and operated by locals, not a multinational or franchise company. By choosing us you are supporting local. We also pass it forward and choose to work with local companies wherever we can to help support local people and families.

 

Straightforward Pricing

We do not charge extra for travel in the Sunshine Coast or Mary Valley areas (up to Gympie)

We do not charge extra for large breed pets

We do not charge extra for sedation, this is included free of charge for all patients regardless of their size

We do not charge extra for aggressive pets that may need longer appointments

All our fees are written inclusive of GST.
 

Our vet is fully insured and allocates 1 hour per appointment to ensure you have all the time you need to say goodbye without it feeling rushed. If you feel you or your pet may need more time (eg potentially aggressive pets) let us know at the time of booking and we will arrange this at no extra charge.

*Travel is included for travel in our home range. This is the Sunshine Coast Regional Council area and the Mary Valley up to Gympie township. For further travel additional fees may apply but please ask the vet at the time of booking. Travel outside of these areas is only subject to availability and we encourage you to use your local vet first.

Payments

To facilitate what can be quite an emotional time, we email an invoice at the time of the booking to allow making an easy payment online before the appointment. This means you can be present with your pet and not having to stress over the financial side of things during our visit.

 

Payments can be made by direct bank transfer or with Australian issued credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or Paypal. We can accept cash however please have exact funds ready as we do not carry change.

A full refund will be made if you change your mind and provide us a minimum of 8 hours' notice. Otherwise a cancellation fee of $100 may be charged/invoiced if we are on our way or do not get notice, even if payment has not been received yet.
